The Ram of every house from the Ramanand Sagar s Ramayan in 1986, Arun s hometown is in Meerut and hid his schooling and graduation from there. He is associated with Brahmrishi Kr. Swamiji. Arun was born on 12 th Jan, 1958 his first break was in the film Paheli (1977), Sawan ko aane do, Judaai, Lav Kush, Hathkadi, Shiv Mahima, Himmatwalla and many more. He also did films in Oriya, Bhojpuri, Telugu and Bengali. He is married to Shrilekha and has two children. Next is the famous television serial Vikram Aur Betal where he played Vikramaditya. He won Uptron award for best actor for television series Ramayana.
